Argentina beat Nigeria 2-1 to reach the round of 16
Argentina head into the Knockout stage in the FIFA World Cup, Russia. The Argentine has fought as a team in a must-win match against Nigeria. Winning the place in the final-16. A late goal by Marcos Rojo gave Argentina a dramatic 2-1 victory over Nigeria in Group D on Tuesday and sent the twice champions through to the knockout stages of the World Cup.

Goalkeeper Franco Armani will make his debut for the team as one of five changes for their must-win game against Nigeria. Under-pressure coach Jorge Sampaoli promised changes after the 0-3 loss to Croatia and he stuck to his word, also bringing in striker Gonzalo Higuain, midfielders Angel Di Maria and Ever Banega, and defender Marcos Rojo.
Argentina great Diego Maradona was taken to the hospital after he collapsed following his country’s dramatic 2-1 win over Nigeria in third and final Group D match of the FIFA World Cup 2018.
Maradona was first treated by paramedics in the stadium before he was taken to the hospital at St. Petersburg on Tuesday.
