Congress’ Adhir Ranjan miffed with Singhvi for backing Mamata Govt
KOLKATA: The conflict raise between Congress party leaders namely Abhishek Singhvi and state Congress president Adhiran Choudhary on the issue of supporting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. In details, The reason behind this dispute is panchayat elections which will take place in the next month (May 1, 2 and 5) around 20 villages in West Bengal. On the eve of the election, union home minister has passed an order to the central force to handle the situation which takes place in the elections.
Subsequently, Abhishek Singhvi disagreed with home minister orders to center force and file a petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Mamata Banerjee government. Moreover, he said Singhvi was accused of committing anti-party activities. Later, Ranjan decided to complain to Congress Party nationalist Rahul Gandhi. The BJP-Trinamool Congress parties are destroying the statue of the idols and engaging in retail politics with the fights. The West Bengal panchayat elections have already become a cause for a display of dirty politics between the two major parties Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as two incidents of physical assault and vandalism were reported on Thursday and Friday where 25 political party workers were injured.
