Five TDP MLA’s are accused of crimes against women
The report is based on analyzing the cases of current MLAs and MPs based on their election affidavits in the country. A total of 4,077 MLAs and 768 MPs have been examined and criminal cases have been registered against members of the 33 percent (1,580 MLAs / MPs) and 48 members have criminal cases against women.
Of these, three are MPs and 45 are MLAs. Five of the 45 MLAs belonging to the TDP. Among the highest incidence of crimes against women, 12 are from Maharashtra and 11 people facing these cases from West Bengal. In the third place, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are at the top. Odisha and Andhra Pradesh are followed by five. Of the 48 are 12 BJP MLAs and MPs, seven are Sivasena, six Trinamool Congress, and five Telugu Desam Party members.

Chintamaneni is top in the state…
The most controversially recorded West Bengal district’s Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar Record stage cases were registered. According to the ADR report, 23 cases were registered against him. There are 13 cases of serious IPC sections. There are a total of 75 sections in these cases. The state minister and Krishna district MLA Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao recorded 13 cases, one of which is a serious case. A total of 42 sections were registered. Another minister has been filed three cases against Tekkali MLA Atchannaidu Kinjarapu. Vishakapatnam Pendurthi MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy has four cases. There are three members who face rape cases across the country, one of which is the MLA of Dharmavaram. The ADR report also revealed that there were more police cases are also filed against him than women’s cases.
Recently, the Telugu Desam Government has issued several biographies for lifting cases against their party members. The recent lifting of cases involving assassinations, extortions, harassment of women, attacks on government officials, rape and threats has led to criticism. Law firms are blamed for lifting the cases of harassment of women by the public figures who are supposed to be the people.
