Former South Korea President Park Sentenced To 24 Years In Prison
Seoul, South Korea: The South Korea court has punished the Former South Korea President Park for alleged corruption up to $2.2 crore. She was 66 sentenced to 24years in Jail. She became the first female president of South Korea. The officials investigated her about 10 months in the case of bribery, Power abuse, and criminal charges which were filed on her.
For misusing the presidential powers as well as hurting people’s faith. she will face a tough situation on the court and also this punishment will teach a lesson to the country’s future leaders. The prosecution sought a sentence of 30 years. On the other hand, she did not attend the Seoul Central District Court to hear the verdict after deciding on a court ruling. The park and her lawyers also refused to participate.
