Good News! EPFO reverses stand, to accept PF claims of above Rs 10 lakh
Good news for the Jobholders, Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) changed its decision. Provident Fund Withdraw Claims will also be available offline for over Rs 10 lakh. Previously, EPFO has stated that this withdrawal should be done only online. The EPFO took this decision to facilitate the process to change the EPFO as a non-paper company. But these claims can be taken as offline right now. A circular issued a review of Provident Funds and Employees, Pension Scheme withdrawals on 13 April 2018. According to the circular, all PF claims above Rs.10 lakh will be settled through the applications submitted offline. Similarly, EPS claims that PF claims over Rs 5 lakh can be taken offline.

The decision was taken to consider the issues faced by members of the EPFO during an online claim. The decision was taken at the meeting of the Central Provident Fund Commissioner. In all cases, these offline claims will be taken up. Applications submitted offline will be sent online to Employers. The EPFO said that the final verification could be taken to reduce the fraud. But are the Employees Accepted Claims Approved? Or refusing? You have to send back to the EPFO office within three days.
