H-1B application process to begin from April 2; premium processing suspended

The Immigration Department has announced that H1B premium visa processing has been temporarily suspended with the intention to save time in processing. The H1B visa petitions premium processing will last until September 10, 2018.
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that the H1B visa premium processing process for the 2019 financial year has been suspended. The USCIS said in a statement on March 20, 2018, that it will begin on October 1, 2018. It said that the details will be returned to the notice. The agency has revealed that it is seeking to process long-standing petitions by suspending premium processing temporarily. However, it is clear that the adoption of the H1B visa applications will continue. Each year the US government issues more than 65,000 H1B visas.
