Threat to Indian call centers
Washington: The bill that has a serious negative impact on Indian call centers has been introduced into the American Congress. Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown has proposed in the bill to conserve American call centers. If the bill is legal, call center jobs in India are at risk. This bill came as part of the Trump Plan called ‘By American, High American’.
During the introduction of the bill, Brown said, “For a long time, US trade and taxation have promoted corporate businesses. This led to a slowdown in business activity in Ohio. American ships production has moved to Rhinosa in Mexico and Wuhan in China. Call center jobs have moved to other countries. Many companies across the country have moved to India or Mexico. Many outsourced Americans have lost jobs because of these outsourcing jobs.
Highlights from the bill
♦ Make sure that customers of the call center jobs should mention their place.
♦ Consumers have the right to ask their call to transfer to the Service Agent in the United States.
♦ Outsourcing jobs are preferred for federal contracts only to companies that give Americans rather than foreigners.
