Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2018 – Apply Online for Navik Posts
Indian coast guard issued recruitment notification for Navik (General Duty) posts. Basic qualification Intermediate. Interesting candidates can apply through online. Selection will be done based on written exam, physical eligibility and medical tests. Selected candidates will be trained from from August. Initially, you can get up to Rs. 35,000 per month.
Passed with Inter / + 2 MPC Group with 50% marks are eligible to apply. And should possess at least 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
Minimum Age 18 years, Maximum 22. That means candidates should born between August 1, 1996 – July 31, 2000 . Maximum age relaxation for SC, ST Five Years; OBCs have three years maximum relaxation.
The test is conducted in the objective manner. Inter Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Questions. Physical examinations are conducted for those who qualify in the written test.
Bodybuilding test (PET)
Candidate height should be least 157 cm. Prior to the inhalation, the chest measurement difference should be at least 5 cm after exhalation. Should run 1.6 km in 7 minutes to qualify in this section. If person qualified in PET Medical examinations are conducted for the candidate. There must be clear eyesight, no hearing problems should be there.
Candidates detailed will be examined during the written test. A candidate should take, inter-original certificates, photographs, any id proofs and certificate duplicates. OBC, SC / ST candidates should take caste certificates. Candidates will be allowed to examination only after examining the details.
Candidates who passed in all the three exams liks Written test, PET and medical tests will be selected. The selection details are placed on the Coast Guard website in July. Primary training begins in INS Chilka since August. Here again medical examinations are performed. Postings will be given to successful trainers. Those who are on duty will be paid Rs 21,700. DA and HRA are other additions. There are many other benefits (like canteen, accommodation, clothing, etc) along with remuneration.
