IPL 2018: Change in match-timings proposed, mid-season player transfers approved
The timings of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season are likely to change.The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 could bring in a couple of big changes in as it is now learnt that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is keen to change the timing of the start of the matches.
At the time of the tournament, the first match was held at 4 pm and the second match was held at 8pm. However, IPL organizers are planning for the second match from 7 am. The second match, which starts at 8pm, is expected to be a one hour ahead of midnight. And the viewers around the house are not able to see the matches completely.
Basic the point organizers put forward the proposal to franchisees to start the second match from 7 in the evening. IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla will talk to the representatives of the Star India for the offer. This issue will be put in front of a meeting with Star India representatives at Delhi on December 5. The second match will be held at 7 o’clock in the evening, “IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla said. If the second match is played at 7pm, the first match will start at 3 pm, one hour before the hour.
