MS Dhoni honored with Padma Bhushan Award by President Ram Nath Kovind
New Delhi: Former India cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and multiple world-champion cue sports player Pankaj Advani received the country’s third highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan, from President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.

He received in the former Captain Army Dress in lieutenant colonel (honorary status) at the ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday, came in military dress to receive Padma Bhushan award by President Ramesh Kovind.

The 37-year-old Dhoni is the second Indian cricketer after Kapil Dev to receive this honor. The Indian Army was honored with Lieutenant Colonel on November 1, 2011. as he took the T20 World Cup and the one-day ODI World Cup in 2007.

Star player Pankaj Advani, Who took the gold medal for India in two Asian Games (2006 Doha and 2010 Guangzhou). He played 19 times in different formats in cue sport (billiards, snooker) 2018 TOISA Snooker/Billiards Player of the Year. He received ‘Padma Bhushan’ award from President.
