People’s safety first, can’t attend ‘Sunny Nights’: Sunny Leone
Time Creation, an advertising agency representatives are organising ‘sunny nights’ event featuring Bollywood actress Sunny Leone on New Year’s Eve. It is said that ‘Sunny Leone Nights’ will be held at in White Orchid Hotel at Nagavara, Bangalore.
But Bangalore Police Commissioner Sunil Kumar did not give permission for the event. In the past, when Sunny went to Kerala, the fans surrounded her and created traffic issues by stopping vehicles, saying that they are not expecting to repeat the same issue now.
But Time Creation MD Harish M.S. filed a petition before the High Court, seeking directions to the police to give permission for the event and provide adequate security to avoid any untoward incident, as most of the preparations were already done.
While the High Court is yet to hear the petition, the actress took to Twitter on Tuesday evening and said that she cannot attend the event. “Since the police of Bangalore have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine & all who attend safety for my New Years event, my team & I feel, safety of the people should always come first therefore I cannot attend. God bless & I wish everyone a safe & happy New Year! (sic),” she tweeted.
“To all those who protested and to all those who supported, always remember, never allow others to speak and choose for you. Have your own voice and make your own choices. You are the youth and you are the NEW INDIA! Stand Proud and Stand together. I love you all dearly,” she said in another tweet.
