PM Modi Hopes For Early Resumption Of Israel-Palestine Talks
Every year On November 29 is celebrated as International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People after 1979. A special meeting is held at the UN headquarters. Modi reiterated that India will give reliable support for the Palestinian Cause on the occasion of International Day of Solidarity.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi added that India hopes for an early resumption of talks between Palestinian and Israeli sides to move towards finding a comprehensive negotiates resolution.
Moreover, Modi said India is an active development partner of Palestine. And it has been engaged in enhancing financial and technical help to improve the lives of the Palestinian people. He later said educational scholarships have also been doubled in order to contribute to human resource development of Palestine.
“We Will Continue to support the nation-building efforts and development of Palestine. To this effect, India has increased training slots for Palestine under our flagship Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme from 100 to 150 annual slots,” PM Modi said
