TDP pulls out of NDA govt, two ministers to resign from Modi govt
New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday reacted to the demand for the Center to deal with Andhra Pradesh in the difficult situation after the split of Andhra Pradesh. He said the central government is ready to provide equal financial assistance to special status. This help is provided in a separate package form. NDA ally TDP would not be given special status to Andhra Pradesh as it is demanding. He said, Cetral Govt. was committed to providing financial assistance in the form of a separate package. We are committed to giving the benefit of 90:10 ratio to Andhra Pradesh. The central government has never said that it will not provide funds.

BJP ministers Kamineni Srinivas and Manikala Rao withdrew from the AP Cabinet. Resignation letters were handed over to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday morning. BJP ministers abandoned official vehicles and ID cards. Ministers Kamineni and Manikala Rao presented their resignation letters to the Chief Minister before the budget was introduced in the Assembly as expected.
