World Chess Championship’s ‘Kama Sutra’ logo criticised
The newly released logo of the World Chess championship to be held in London in 2018 faced criticism. Adding such obscenity to logo, organisers received passionate response among grandmasters. Many of the legends around the world including legends like Gary Casparov, expressed their angry over organisers . From November 18 Magnus Carlson Candidates will play against champion winner of the tournament.
The British Grandmaster Nigel Short, a long-time critic of the game’s governing body Fide, said the organisers were “perhaps suggesting that they are giving the chess world a good f——.”
“Anyone in the world will see chess for games. Do not turn it into a TV show that can only be seen on midnight. The chess I know is 8×8 squares. But here 6 x 6 sqaure is here,” former chess champion Vishwanand Anand commented on this. However, the organizers have announced that they are ready to campaign with this logo.
